Just seconds after Tranquillo Barnetta’s stunning free kick to put the Union ahead 2-1, Andre Blake made a ridiculous diving save from an Adrian Winter volley to preserve the lead. Head coach Jim Curtin went on to say during the post-game press conference that Blake’s save saved two points for the Union. It’s Blake’s third nomination for MLS Save of the Week already this season.
