After a stellar MLS season and brilliant CONCACAF play, Andre Blake is nominated for CONCACAF Male Player of the Year.
Blake's case for CONCACAF Male Player of the Year begins with his incredible run in the 2017 Gold Cup, one where he won the Golden Gloves and was a major candidate for the Golden Ball. Blake opened his group stage with allowing just one goal in three games, including shutting out Mexico. After defeating Canada, Blake then shut out Mexico once again in the semifinals, setting up a matchup against the US Men's National Team.
Against the USMNT, Blake was again playing stellar soccer before a hand injury caused him to leave the game.
