Villanova upset No. 10 Creighton; Temple held to draw

Miguel Polley continued his set-piece dominance and the Villanova defense held off wave after wave of attacks to top 10th-ranked Creighton on Saturday at Higgins Soccer Complex.

Polley, who set up two goals from free kicks in a 3-0 win over Penn earlier in the week, delivered a goal from a tight angle just outside the 18 after he was fouled in the 21st minute on Saturday. The goal was the fourth of the season for the junior, who leads the team with seven assists and thanks to a big day by Will Steiner and the defense all the Wildcats needed.
