U.S. Under-20 team heads to World Cup quarterfinals with 6-0 rout of New Zealand

With a contribution from Union defender Auston Trusty in his Under-20 World Cup debut, the United States blew out New Zealand, 6-0, in the round of 16 on Thursday in Incheon, South Korea.

Trusty scored the fifth of those six goals on a rocket of a shot in the 84th minute:

The Americans are headed to the quarterfinals, where they’ll face Venezuela on Sunday, June 4. The game kicks off at 2 a.m. Eastern time kickoff on Fox Sports 2.

(Yes, you read that right. We’ll see if Fox moves the game to a more prominent channel between now and then.
