Two college soccer stars from the University of Maryland spent their spring break training with the Philadelphia Union.
Gordon Wild, who turned down an offer from Major League Soccer to return to College Park for his junior year, and former Real Salt Lake Academy midfielder Amar Sejdic both returned to the area for the week after playing a friendly for Maryland against a reserve-heavy Union side on March 12. The game ended in a 1-1 draw.
Wild, a Cologne, Germany native scored a late equalizer in that match on a play started by a long Sejdic free kick.
