Union defender Keegan Rosenberry, goalkeeper Andre Blake and midfielder Chris Pontius are finalists for three end-of-season Major League Soccer awards. In each case there are three finalists.
Rosenberry is up for rookie of the year, Blake for goalkeeper of the year and Pontius for comeback player of the year.
Rosenberry became the first MLS rookie to play all 3,060 regular-season minutes this season. He was an all-star selection.
Also earning an all-star spot was Blake, who had a 1.56 goals-against average and six shutouts in 32 games. Few keepers made more spectacular saves.
Pontius led the Union with 12 goals and was second with six assists.
