Union with a Top Five MLS SuperDraft Grade

While the Union didn't have a single pick in the 2019 MLS SuperDraft presented by adidas, MLSSoccer.com's Travis Clark ranked the club in the top five of his draft grades.

After dealing all five of the selections to MLS-newcomer FC Cincinnati in exchange for up for $200,000 in General Allocation Money, why the B+ draft grade? According to Clark's piece "[The trade] made plenty of sense, with a robust academy set to stock its USL or MLS sides. If that allocation is used to bring in an established professional that can start, it's an even better decision from the new GM Ernst Tanner.
