The Philadelphia Union continued their somewhat frustrating preseason with a 4-2 loss to the Chicago Fire earlier today from Clearwater, Florida. Chicago took the lead early after a Vincent Nogueira handball, which was a less than ideal start for a big name starter for the Union. Union fans, however, got a great look at Fabian Herbers today as Sebastian Le Toux picked the Union second rounder out with a great cross that Herbers seemingly back-heeled into the net.
David Accam was too much for the Union to handle, with a terrible giveaway by the starting captain Tranquillo Barnetta setting Accam up with an easy look on goal.
