Feels Like a Win
The US Men's National Team traveled down to Honduras for the team's final hexagonal match of the international break, and it turned into a doozy. Battling near triple digit heat, the two teams slogged it out in the opening minutes, methodically looking for a chance to break through. Honduras eventually scored first in the 27th minute, and as the game progressed, the goal looked like the game winner. However, Bobby Wood scored in the 85th minute for the USMNT, earning a very tough road point when the team desperately needed it. Heading into the final two matches, the USMNT sits tied for third with Honduras, but winning the tiebreaker thanks to a positive goal differential.
