MLS Kicks Cancer
September is Pediatric Cancer Awareness Month, and the Union and MLS are holding initiatives throughout the month to help bring awareness to the disease. As a whole, the league will be playing with a special gold ball during September, special edition kick cancer warm-up tops for players and referees, gold ribbon patches for kits, and more. As for the Union, the team's pediatric Cancer Awareness Night is highlighted by the cleats designed by pediatric cancer patients, painted by Kickasso and worn by first-team players during warm-ups.
