Philadelphia Union have a chance to pull even on points with sixth place Montreal if they can grab a win on the road and leapfrog Chicago Fire on Wednesday night.
The Fire went undefeated in June following a loss to Philadelphia at the end of May. But after two wins and three draws, Veljko Paunovic’s squad fell to Kei Kamara and Vancouver Whitecaps to open their July schedule on Saturday.
Reasons to tune in
Wednesday will be the second and final time the Union and Fire will square off in 2018 MLS regular-season action.
