Andre Blake was nominated for the second year in a row for MLS's Goalkeeper of the Year award, and he's aiming to become the first person ever to win the award in consecutive years. Blake built off his 2016 career year and made 2017 another career year, where he broke many personal records which he set during his Goalkeeper of the Year campaign. He set new highs in shutouts, while seeing his goals against average drop, and set the team record for most consecutive shutouts.
