Union Today: BC calls it a career, quick hits from Curtin's presser and more

Sunday's game will be the final game of Brian Carroll's career, as he announced he'd be retiring at the end of the 2017 season. His career spanned 370 games, good for fourth-most in MLS, and is sixth all-time in MLS for minutes played. He's believed to be the only MLS player to win four consecutive Supporter's Shields. He was an ideal teammate and a fantastic person off the pitch, and he will be missed inside the Union locker room and around MLS. To read more about Carroll's retirement, click here.
