The Union are one step closer to filling the most unique job in sports, its Chief Tattoo Officer.
The Union received more than 150 applications for the Chief Tattoo Officer position. The position, which was announced on February 13, will be the go-to person or shop for Union players, technical staff, front office members and even fans for all their tattoo needs. After our initial review of the submissions with our players, we have narrowed the list to about 30 artists/chops across the Delaware Valley.
During the next few weeks, the Union continue to look at the finalists' portfolios, consulting with players, as well as making phone calls to the shops or artists and potentially even visiting the shops or artists themselves.
