After taking a break for the first part of Copa America, the Union jump right back into Major League Soccer action in a big way.
The Union have been idle from MLS play since a June 1 win over the visiting Columbus Crew. But they resume action with Saturday's 1 p.m. matchup against New York City FC at Yankee Stadium.
Actually, the Union returned to the field on Wednesday when a partial group of regulars beat the Harrisburg City Islanders, 3-2, in their first U.S. Open Cup game.
Beginning with that game, the Union will have two games in each of the next three weeks.
