Jim Curtin made the point loud and clear this week that he believes Toronto FC is not just the best team in MLS this year, but one of the best MLS teams of all time.

That point was proven with some force on Wednesday.

Toronto stamped its authority on the game right from the start and never looked back, blowing out the Union, 3-0, at BMO Field.

The Reds (15-3-8, 53 points) had the lead just 10 minutes after kickoff, after superstar forward Sebastian Giovinco drew a foul from Oguchi Onyewu just outside the 18-yard box.
