Toronto FC's Sebastian Giovinco was Major League Soccer's MVP last season, his first year in the league. The 29-year-old Italian forward certainly isn't suffering from the sophomore jinx.
Giovinco will bring his talents to Talen Energy Stadium on Saturday for a key Eastern Conference game against the Union.
After totaling 22 goals and 16 assists in 33 games last season, Giovinco entered the weekend tied for first in MLS with 15 goals and tied for second with 11 assists.
The former Juventus star has been especially hot lately, with seven goals and four assists in his last five games.
