Union II tops FC Motown on two set piece goals in friendly

Set piece goals from Jack Jasinski and Jackson Gilman led Philadelphia Union II to a 2-0 win over FC Motown on a windy Sunday afternoon in Chester.

Coming off a 3-1 win over West Chester United, Union II was able to get a second straight result against one of West Chester’s rivals, a top amateur club in New Jersey that competes in the NPSL, Northeast Elite Soccer League and USL League Two.

“We were pretty good today with our attacks coming from really good defending and we pressed really well,” Philadelphia Union II head coach Marlon LeBlanc said in a recap on the team website.
