Philadelphia Union, as a part of MLS WORKS’ Week of Service, spent a few hours Monday afternoon to make Talen Energy Stadium as beautiful as possible.
Volunteers from the Union’s front office staff and Talen Energy picked up trash around the stadium and in the Chester community.
“This year, Philadelphia Union and Talen Energy are teaming up to clean up the areas around Talen Energy Stadium including parking lots and the River Walk,” said Nicolette Stoner, Foundation and Community Relations Coordinator.
MLS WORKS, the league’s community outreach initiative, hosts the Week of Service every year, where staff and players from around the league will partner with charitable organizations in their local communities to volunteer at eco-friendly events.
