UNION FACT CHECK: Team returns to MLS slate after international break

Philadelphia Union gears up for MLS action this week following the international break when they travel to Illinois to take on Chicago Fire.

  • The Union enter the week tied in seventh place in the Eastern Conference with a record of 10-13-9 and 30 points.
  • In their last meeting against Chicago, Philadelphia earned a 3-1 victory on Sept. 23 at Talen Energy Stadium.
  • Philadelphia currently has two players away on international duty. However, both Alejandro Bedoya and Haris Medunjanin will rejoin the club for their match against the Fire on Saturday.
  • Bedoya recorded his 65th international cap for the United States as he entered the match in the 79th minute to help close out the USMNT 4-0 victory over Panama on Friday.
