Philadelphia Union earned a 2-1 victory over New York Red Bulls this past weekend, advancing to the Quarterfinals of the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup.
The Union will host the winner of the Orlando City vs. D.C. United match. The contest between Orlando and D.C. United is scheduled for June 20, at 7 p.m.
Philadelphia is now 7-0-5 in their last 12 Open Cups matches and improved their record to 14-1-2 in Open Cup matches played at Talen Energy Stadium. (Note that in Open Cup format record format shows as wins, loss, extra time/PK loss)
Under Head Coach Jim Curtin, the Union own a record of 13-0-4 in Open Cup competition.
