Weather aside, it was a frustrating night for the Union in Chicago on Saturday. Despite a solid, workmanlike performance – probably good enough for a point on any other night – the Union didn’t catch the breaks and came up empty in 1-0 loss to the Fire.
With brutal winter-like conditions pelting Toyota Park, the Union were clearly up for the match with a blistering first half display that saw much of the action in Chicago’s end.
