In honor of the organization's 10 year anniversary, the Union are holding Sons of Ben Appreciation Night ahead of the team's match against FC Dallas on August 5.
Below are all of the festivities and activities the team will be doing to show their appreciation for the supporter's club:
- Sons of Ben logo featured on warm-up kits, all corner flags and captain's band
- Sons of Ben logo featured on t-shirts for kids during player procession
- $2 beer during 6:00 - 6:45 happy hour at Union Ale House, with Sons of Ben membership card ONLY
- 15 percent off Union shop, with Sons of Ben membership card ONLY
- 5 members of Sons of Ben will receive warm-up kits from Union players
- Sons of Ben Movie streamed on Facebook before match
- Sons of Ben members selected for Hometown Hero and Honorary Captain
- Sons of Ben will sing national anthem
Following the match, the Union and FC Dallas will have Special Olympics Unified teams compete in a friendly soccer match at Talen Energy Stadium.
