Philadelphia Union have announced their representative for the 2018 MLS Unified All-Star Game in Atlanta, Georgia. MLS and ESPN will host the 5th annual Special Olympics Unified Sports All-Star Soccer Showcase as part of the 2018 MLS All-Star Game presented by Target in Atlanta.
The Unified Sports All-Star soccer teams will play an 11-v-11 match, featuring Unified players representing all 23 MLS clubs.
Philadelphia will be represented by first-year player from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, 16-year-old Brandon Richards.
Richards is a forward who is opportunistic in the attacking zone. In a recent match, Richards briefly exited the contest after suffering from a muscle cramp, but when he returned to the pitch, the Philadelphia native scored several goals while playing up top.
