While Philadelphia Union and Portland Timbers are making their way onto the field at Talen Energy Stadium this weekend, you might want to keep your eyes peeled. Though, what you’ll be looking for will be pretty hard to miss.
During the player procession, there will be enormous banners on the field that celebrate Philadelphia soccer and, of course, the Union. The banners will remain on the field throughout the player introductions and national anthem.
Each flag is designed to create an engaging atmosphere before the game kicks off and to get every fan excited for the start of the game.
