Philadelphia Union first team might be in off-season mode, but current and former members of the Union Academy are still taking the pitch as the holiday season approaches. The 2016 Division 1 Men’s Soccer Championship is well underway, with all roads leading to the College Cup Final in Houston, Texas.

Philadelphia Union Academy is well represented in Chapel Hill. The Tar Heels advanced to the third round of the College Cup with a 3-2 win over Florida Gulf Coast. Jack Skahan recorded 14 minutes off the bench in the victory. Not appearing in the match was Will Campbell, who competed for three seasons at Philadelphia Union Academy.
