Ahead of the 2019-20 Academy season kicking off this weekend, Philadelphia Union Academy has announced team rosters and schedules ahead of a newly formatted season beginning this year.
The Union Academy U-15, U-17 and U-19 teams will compete in a new DA Cup competition and a restructured regular season during the 2019-20 U.S. Soccer Development Academy campaign that was announced last week. The revamped competition structure unveiled a new DA Cup that gives the Union the opportunity to win a championship in a high-stakes knockout tournament and qualify for the Playoffs next spring. In addition, a new two-tiered season format for the U-19 level will increase the quantity of games the Union's U-19 squad plays.
