There was no shortage of goals on Wednesday night as Union Academy member Rayshaun McGann help lead the U.S. U-17 club to an impressive 7-1 victory over Portugal in their first match of the 2016 NIKE International Friendlies.
Scoring started off early with Andrew Carleton converting on a penalty kick in the eighth minute, and just moments later Josh Sargent gave the U.S. a 2-0 lead with a shot to the lower left post off a great assist from Ayo Akinola.
After Portugal got on the board in the 23rd minute, the U.S. answered back with goals in the 37th, 55th, 63rd, 82nd, and in stoppage time.
