The Philadelphia Union Academy and Bethlehem Steel FC defender helped the US keep a clean sheet against Spain.
Philadelphia Union Academy graduate Auston Trusty had one of his best nights as a youth international Friday in helping to lead the United States U19 team to a 1-0 victory over host Spain in the COTIF International Tournament.
Trusty, who has starred this season as an amateur for Bethlehem Steel FC, was seemingly everywhere in the game to cut down wave after wave of attacks from a Spain team that scored three goals in each of their first two matches.
