TopDrawerSoccer.com named Bethlehem Steel FC the third best USL developmental program for the 2017 season.
The rankings were determined by looking at the USL squad's ability to have players promoted to MLS, along with current rosters and past participants with the team. TDS pointed to Derrick Jones as Exhibit A on how Bethlehem Steel FC develops players for the next level, as well as discussing the route between the Union's academy, Bethlehem Steel FC and the Union.
TDS isn't the only one who has taken notice of the Union's academy, as MLS Commissioner Don Garber has called the Academy a world-class facility.
