Temple surrendered four second-half goals in their most lopsided defeat of the season on the road in Cincinnati on Saturday night.
The Owls (8-5-1, 1-2-1) opened the first half in their typical high-octane fashion creating numerous chances and forcing Bearcats goalkeeper Pedro Diaz into four saves in the first half, but it was the home side that broke through with a 49th minute goal from Jack Clark.
Nick Melville (penalty kick), Daniel Oginni and Ryan Melink added goals to score the 4-0 win behind Diaz’s seven saves.
Temple outshot the Bearcats 16-10 with Jorge Gomez Sanchez leading the team with seven shots and three on target.
