Serving the community has been a cornerstone of Philadelphia Union since its inception and its commitment to giving back to others has been evident during the month of September.
Throughout September, the Union have been at the forefront of MLS’ league-wide initiative of Pediatric Cancer Awareness month. Members of the front office and First Team have participated in Alex’s Million Mile in efforts to raise money for pediatric cancer, yellow ribbons were sold during the awareness match on Sept.10th, and on Thursday night Taylor Washington represented Philadelphia Union at a beautiful event centered on empowering teens battling cancer.
