Talen Energy Stadium hosting slate of high school, college soccer games

The boys and girls varsity soccer teams from Friends Central and Shipley will be kicking off later today in one of several high school games being played at the home of the Philadelphia Union.

The girls will play at 4 p.m. followed by the boys at 6 p.m.

South Jersey schools Woodstown and Schalick and GCIT and Clayton all played in games at the stadium on Monday and several more high school games are scheduled, including Archmere Academy and Wilmington Charter School on October 10 at 7 p.m. and Episcopal Academy and The Haverford School on October 17 at 5:30 p.
