In the early goings, this game looked like it could’ve been over by half time. Philadelphia got off to a much hotter start against Toronto than they did against Vancouver just about a week ago as, Jay Simpson scored the Union’s first goal of the year and his first in MLS in the 10th minute of the match. However, things were different in the second half of play.

“I thought the first 45 minutes was some of the best soccer we’ve played in a while, maybe ever,” Head Coach Jim Curtin said. “From that standpoint, I’m happy with the group, disappointed to go into halftime 1-1 though.
