He credits his team's success to being able to shutdown key players for opposing teams. Sacha Kljestan, the leader in chances created in MLS, only was able to create one chance against the Union. Bradley Wright-Phillips had the least amount of touches in a match in his career against the Union. Luciano Acosta had a frustrating game that ultimately led to a red card in the DC United match, and against LA Galaxy, Jermaine Jones failed to find the score sheet.
