The only two players to participate in international competition during the break was Alejandro Bedoya and Warren Creavalle. Bedoya appeared in both games for the US Men’s National Team, where he notched an assist in the Yanks’ 6-0 drubbing of Honduras at home. His assist was his fourth in the last 15 international games. Meanwhile, Creavalle played in an international friendly with Guyana against Martinique. Despite playing games so closely to the DC United match, Head Coach Jim Curtin said both will be available for selection on Saturday.
“I thought Bedoya did very well against Honduras,” Curtin said.
