Steel FC look to bounce back from card-heavy loss at home against Swope Park Rangers

After finishing last week’s game against Birmingham Legion 9v9, the Bethlehem Steel FC are back at Talen Energy Stadium tonight looking to bounce back against a fellow MLS 2 side they had another wild game with that they won 4-3 back in early April.

Unlike the Legion, which came in last week riding a long scoreless streak and shooting up the standings closer to playoff contention, the Swope Park Rangers come in sitting in last place in the conference with results in only nine of their 23 games — three wins and six draws.

Sergio Santos scored the late winner in his Steel FC debut in Kansas City when the teams last met, but he’ll be unavailable in this one after being ejected for an altercation with Zachary Herivaux last week in just his second appearance in the USL Championship.
