Sophomore Excitement: Yaro looks ahead to 2017 season

Many lessons are learned during an athlete’s rookie season and as Josh Yaro closes the chapter of his first year in MLS, he begins to look ahead to his sophomore season and what he hopes to accomplish along the way.

“The 2016 [campaign] was an interesting one for me,” said the defender. “It was a good learning experience and there are a lot of positives to build on for next season. My goals for the 2017 season are to become a regular starter from the beginning of the season, have an injury-free season and do my best to stay healthy at all times, do my individual job and give my maximum effort at all times, and become one of the top center-backs in the league by the end of the 2017 season.
