Sister Cities | Union to Host Frankfurt June 14

Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and Frankfurt, Germany are Sister-Cities. Each provides exchange students and business delegations to the other to learn and benefit from each other. On Saturday, July 14, the latest expression of this global friendship will take place on the pitch at Talen Energy Stadium when the Union plays host to Eintracht Frankfurt at 7 p.m. ET.

The Sister-City relationship between Philadelphia and Frankfurt dates back to 2015, when former Philadelphia Mayor, Michael Nutter established a partnership with Frankfurt Mayor, Peter Feldmann. The two shared economic state of both cities along with similar art, culture and education opportunities permitted Philadelphia's eighth Sister-City to be established; the first new partnership since 1992.
