The women’s team is one win away from playing for a conference title and an NCAA Tournament berth. They take on Massachusetts in Dayton, Ohio today at 1 p.m. looking to continue their stunning late season run.
The Hawks (6-11-2, 5-5-0) started the season winless in their first nine games with a pair of scoreless draws but were able to squeak into the postseason as an eight seed with a 4-5-0 conference record after beating VCU 1-0 in the regular season finale.
