Real Salt Lake played host to D.C. United in a thrilling contest inside of Rio Tinto Stadium. D.C. United actually struck first in the contest with an early goal. Paul Arriola was able to beat RSL goalkeeper Nick Rimando and find the back of the net off a set piece attempt to give DCU the early one-nil lead.
