For much of the season, D.C. United has been neck and neck with the Philadelphia Union in the standings, but they’ll come into their showdown in Chester on Saturday smarting from another loss, further down the table and missing one of their star players to red card suspensions.
Wayne Rooney, who we learned will be leaving after the season a couple days after the Union beat D.C. 5-1 at Audi Field, was sent off in the 24th minute for a foul on Cristian Casseres Jr. before a corner kick was taken on Wednesday night against the New York Red Bulls.
