Recap: Santos, Blake send Union through to quarterfinals with 1-0 win

Philadelphia Union became the first club to book a place in the Quarterfinals of the MLS Is Back Tournament when a 1-0 victory over New England Revolution. Andre Blake was outstanding once again in a matchup of the top two goalies in the competition, and Sergio Santos’ second half goal was enough to see the Union through.

Jim Curtin made few changes to the team that has been one of the best in Orlando. Jose Martinez returned to the holding midfield position and Jack Elliott retained his spot next to Mark McKenzie in back.

Chances were at a premium in a match where both sides struggled to build attacks.
