Another clean sheet, another honor for Andre Blake in the Philadelphia Union’s 2-0 win over Chicago Fire as the reigning Goalkeeper of the Year topped our Community Player Ratings poll for the third time in four league games.
Blake finished with an average rating of 4.47 from the match, following by goal-scoring center back Jakob Glesnes with an average 4.29 rating. The other goal scorer in the match — Cory Burke — rounded out the top three with a 4.09 average rating.
Blake has now topped the poll, which we only conduct for regular season MLS matches, 13 times in the last two seasons.
