Rate the U: Accam swipes three points from his former team

What a finish!

Yes, the Union won last night despite conceding an equalizing goal in stoppage time. Yes, the Fire had another chance to tie the game on a free kick just outside the 18 before the full time whistle blue.

And yes, it was David Accam’s solo effort out of basically nothing that won the game. Hard as it is to believe that the Union won on the road despite squandering three individual leads and somehow coming out on top of a seven-goal shootout, there was no shortage of both good and not so good performances on display for the blue and gold in Bridgeview on Wednesday night.
