QUICK HITS: Prep for the postseason

After his team fell 3-1 to New York City FC on Sunday night, Jim Curtin said he was unhappy with how his team competed but believes a few tweaks can get them ready to handle NYC in the playoffs midweek.

“Not the way we wanted to finish things,” Curtin began, “But this is the reality. Always going to be tough against New York City at home.”

The Union gave up two early goals off a set piece and an own goal before they began to claw back into the match.

“I thought that we started the game slow,” the head coach continued, “With the first ten minutes conceding off of a restart and an own goal.
