Superman
The Union walked away from Red Bull Arena with a point, and a major reason for that was the play of Andre Blake. Blake made eight stops in the match, seven of which came in the first half. His eight saves were the most since March 6, 2016, when he stopped eight FC Dallas shots. And not all of his saves were equal.
In the 26th minute, New York Red Bull's Derrick Etienne, Jr., launched a shot, forcing Blake to fully extended for a diving save to keep the match scoreless. Blake then outdid himself in the 77th minute, as he stopped a cross from Sacha Kljestan and the ensuing rebound from Bradley Wright-Phillips before Chris Pontius cleared the shot.
