Blake is Back
The Union's match against Toronto FC marked the return of Andre Blake from injury, and in his first game, Blake performed well. Blake made a couple of big saves in the match, which is just another day's work for him. Blake was tested early, as in the seventh minute, he charged off his line to deny a gold chance by Sebastian Giovinco. Later on the in the match, Blake made a quick kick save in the 73rd minute to deny a pass/shot by Steven Beitashour. Now with 90 minutes under his belt after missing eight games, Blake should get his first start at home against Atlanta United FC since July 2.
