Player rating results: Philadelphia Union vs. Toronto FC

The Philadelphia Union and Toronto FC played to a 2-2 draw in the bitter cold at Talen Energy Stadium, and unfortunately for the Union it was a draw that felt more like a loss. A penalty kick off of the crossbar by Alejandro Bedoya and a very soft call (I’m trying to be nice here) by referee Mark Geiger allowing a Toronto penalty at the end of the half soured what was an otherwise pretty good showing against the team that lost the MLS Cup in penalties to the Seattle Sounders (we know what it feels like to lose a trophy to them in penalties).
