We’ve seen a couple of other clubs creating their hip-hop starting XI or their music starting XI and they’ve been great. The City of Brotherly love is often left out of the conversation regarding music cities in the US. However, whether it be that Motown Philly sound or an in-your-face hardcore scene, Philadelphia has produced some excellent musicians. So we put together not only a starting XI but a small bench and some other club positions as well. We decided to use only living artists, Teddy Pendergrass would obviously have made the cut otherwise.
